High-Spec Drone Equipment

Our drones fly cameras using the best gyro-stabilised gimbals to produce sharp HD 4K video and 20MP still photography. Our pilots also have live HD video feed on the ground from the drone, allowing us a real time view of camera angles and position in order to capture the best shots. This also allows our clients the possibility to direct photography on site. Our UAVs can fly and track at speeds of up to 65 kph with great stability and without compromising the high quality of the footage. The common European rules on Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) are enforced in Cyprus by the Civil Aviation Department, however there are more unique factors that must be taken into consideration when planning a project on the island. Due to the complex political situation in Cyprus, with the country divided between the Greek Cypriot south and Turkish Cypriot north, there are specific regulations and different authorities that need to be contacted when it comes to filming in the two territories. The southern two-thirds of the island is controlled by the Republic of Cyprus (RoC), while the northern third – the self-proclaimed Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) – is occupied by Turkey with over 40,000 Turkish troops. The TRNC is a so-called breakaway state only recognised by Turkey. Within the boundaries of the RoC there are also numerous military zones in addition to a number of British Sovereign Base Areas (SBAs) and two international airports, which all present specific restrictions and rules on capturing aerial imagery.
